DEATH BY..., a short documentary I made 2 years ago which played at the Austin Film Festival, is being released on DVD with the horror feature "Sick Girl." What is the connection you may ask? Leslie Andrews. I've seen the film, and in the first 10 minutes or so she kills an entire bus of Catholic schoolgirls. They totally had it coming...

Rosemarie DeWitt is so cool.

Rosemarie DeWitt, who plays Leslie in "How I Got Lost," has been getting terrific notices for her part in "Rachel Getting Married," Jonathan Demme's new movie. If you haven't seen it, absolutely go. It is a moving, sad and joyful movie that is just very raw and real. Anne Hathaway is great as Rosemarie's ("Rachel's") sister, who checks out of rehab for her sister's wedding. Rosemarie is absolutely the center and heart of the movie, and her relationship with her sister is moving.

So far Ro has been nominated for a Gotham Award for Best Breakthrough Performance and an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress for the role!
